Celtic hero Chris Sutton has once again accused Rangers of complacency after they crashed out of the Champions League.
Steven Gerrard's side were defeated by Malmo at Ibrox despite the Swedish outfit playing with ten men for 45 minutes.
Rangers now head into the play-off round of the Europa League and Sutton admitted that it was a bad day for Scotland's coefficient.
He tweeted: "Bitterly disappointing night for Rangers and Steven Gerrard against 10 man Malmö. Only have themselves to blame. Too complacent. Bad night for the coefficient."
We told last week how Sutton and Ally McCoist went head to head over complacency claims after Rangers were defeated in the first leg.
Sutton accused the Light Blues of complacency after their lacklustre performance but Gers icon Ally McCoist wasn't having any of the claims on BT Sport's Scottish Football Extra.
When asked about Rangers' performance, McCoist said: “I was not happy, I was not happy with it."
Sutton then jumped in saying: “They were complacent weren’t they Ally?"
McCoist replied: “No they weren’t. They weren’t complacent, they just weren’t very good."
Sutton then said: “It was complacency. We all saw it. It was the old Rangers, wasn’t it?”
McCoist then added: “No it wasn’t, it was a poor performance. It was a poor performance. I would struggle to give many pass marks, because I thought we were poor all over the park.
“Rangers did not play at all. Kent had one of those evenings. I did say I had concerns about the centre-forward position. Obviously no Morelos and Roofe was suspended for it.
“I thought that would be key and pivotal.”
