Sead Haksabanovic has taken to social media to confirm prominent rumours about his Celtic future.
After spending last season on loan to English Championship side Stoke City, the 25-year-old was expected to depart Glasgow's East End, after it was understood manager Brendan Rodgers had told the player he was free to leave the club.
Malmo are the proposed suitors for the forward's services, as per a report from Swedish media that suggested the Montenegrin had agreed to depart the Parkhead side.
On Instagram, Haksabanovic said: "So my time at Celtic has come to an end, earlier [than] I thought and expected and wanted but some other people had another opinion and I gotta respect that.
"I wanna thank the players, the staff and the fans because that is really what Celtic is about, we made some good memories together and will always have love for Celtic, good luck and Celtic are f*cking massive everywhere they go.
"All the best in the future."
According to Transfermarkt, Haksabanovic scored just one goal in 21 appearances for Stoke in all competitions last season.
During his last season north of the border, the forward player found the net five times in 40 appearances for Celtic over the course of previous manager Ange Postecoglou's last campaign in Scotland.
