Tony started his sports journalism career at the Paisley Gazette Series in 1998. He then graduated to sports agency SNS before gaining a job at the Daily Record where he spent the next two decades honing his craft on the sports desk. He then tried his luck at podcasting with 'A Celtic State of Mind' and his valuable input held the team scoop a hat-trick of awards at the highly prestigious Football Content Awards in 2021. It was not long after that when Newsquest/Herald and 'The Celtic Way' came calling for his services. He has been part of the team since the summer of 2021. Tony has also written two books which he self-published on Amazon with tremendous working titles: "Gonnae Gie's A Kick O' Yer Ba' Mister?" & "Gonnae Gie's A Lift O'er Mister?"
