Joe Hart: The Celtic number one watched a Melker Hallberg strike whistle past the upright early on and he was a spectator from then on in. Such was the home team's dominance that you could count on both hands the number of touches that Hart actually had in the match. 7
Josip Juranovic: The Croatian full-back's distribution can be erratic at times but what an engine he possesses. He loves to gallop forward and he gets up and down the right-hand side at will. He dispatched the penalty with ease to make it 4-0 on the day. 8
Cameron Carter-Vickers: American centre-back Carter-Vickers strolled through the contest and never looked under any pressure at any stage. Alongside Starfelt, he made sure that Celtic were not going to give anything stupid away. He seemed to enjoy the extra responsibility and acted as a playmaker at times by striding forward and setting up attacks. 8
Carl Starfelt: The Swede made full use of the space that he was afforded due to the fact that St Johnstone could not get any foothold in the game. He was very comfortable and his passing was on point for the most part. He was another player who enjoyed a day at the office where he was rarely troubled. 8
Greg Taylor: Scotland left-back Taylor continued his rich vein of form and looks as if he is really enjoying his football at the moment. The ex-Kilmarnock man gave a masterclass in defending at Ibrox last Sunday and here it was his link-up play that stood out. It was his cute lay-off to Hatate that opened up the space for the Japanese midfielder to net the first after just eight minutes. 8
Callum McGregor: The skipper was interchanging positions with both Hatate and Rogic in the engine room and St Johnstone found it hard to mark the trio all afternoon. McGregor kept it neat and tidy as he directed traffic all day. He makes this football malarkey look incredibly simple. 8
Reo Hatate: So much for the rigours of a full league season coupled with a breakneck start to his Celtic career catching up on the midfielder. The Japan international hammered in an effort Zander Clark before opening the scoring with a fantastic left foot shot in eight minutes and almost added a second moments later with a super strike which Clark parried. His movement and passing seemed effortless at times and he also won the penalty that Juranovic scored to make it 4-0. 8

Tom Rogic: Rogic was imperious against Rangers at Ibrox in the 61 minutes that he featured. He only got 45 here but it was his dancing feet and fantastic skill that saw him drift into the box in 13 minutes but he succeeded in only toe-poking the ball off Clark's legs when he ought to have made it 2-0 and he made way for Matt O'Riley at the break. 6
Jota: The winger looked in the mood all afternoon and he drifted from the left to right flanks at will. He caused the Saints defence no end of problems with his pace while he also peppered Clark's goal with efforts and hit the side-netting at one point. It was his cross with pinpoint accuracy onto the head of Maeda that enabled the striker to head home the third goal after 35 minutes. 7
Giorgos Giakoumakis: The well-deserved player of the month for March had 12 goals to his name and every one of them a one-touch finish. He was looking for lucky number 13 and duly got it on 22 minutes when he superbly intercepted Callum Booth's passback to drag it wide of the Saints goalkeeper and stroke home from an acute angle. He unfortunately had to leave the field after 26 minutes when he suffered a hamstring injury. 5
Daizen Maeda: The Japanese forward has an incredible work-rate and he guided Jota's cross into the net quite superbly with his head for the third goal and the seventh of his Celtic career. He is such a dangerous player and he continues to impress while the variation in his attacking play makes him such a huge threat to defenders at all times. 8
Substitutes
Liel Abada (for Giorgos Giakoumakis, 26): The Israeli winger replaced the luckless Giakoumakis who limped off injured minutes after scoring the clinching second goal. He saw an effort deflected just wide of the target and then smashed a second-half volley just past the post before hammering home goal number 15 to make it 7-0. 6
Matt O'Riley (for Tom Rogic, 46): The Denmark Under-21s midfielder came on for Tom Rogic at the break and it was his eye for the clever pass that saw Hatate upended for the penalty incident that brought about the fourth goal. He added to Celtic's attacking dimension and he put the finishing touches on two wonderful moves to score two fantastic goals to make it 5-0 and 6-0. 8
David Turnbull (for Reo Hatate, 55): Given another decent run out as his rehabilitation continues, he had the luxury of coming on when the points were well and truly in the bag. It was his cross that allowed Matt O'Riley to make it five. 5
James McCarthy (for Callum McGregor, 74): Replaced the skipper to get much needed minutes into his legs.
Kyogo (for Jota, 74): A welcome return for Kyogo and his first involvement led to Abada making it 7-0.
Substitutes not used: Scott Bain, Nir Bitton, Yosuke Ideguchi, Anthony Ralston
