Celtic reportedly remain firmly in the hunt to sign South Korean striker Cho Gue-sung.
The Hoops have been heavily linked with the Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors striker, who bowed out of the Qatar tournament on Monday after South Korea were battered 4-1 by Brazil in the last 16.
Fenerbahce and Rennes have also been credited with an interest in the forward but reports emanating from South Korea suggest that the player will not be joining either of those clubs.
Cho became the first South Korean player to score two goals in a World Cup game when he netted a double against Ghana in the group stages.
The 24-year-old's father has also advised his son to pick a team that suits his playing style rather than because they are a big name which could tip the scales in Ange Postecoglou's side's favour when it comes to a final decision.
Meanwhile, Josip Juranovic triumphed in the battle of the Celts in Qatar as Croatia overcame Daizen Maeda's Japan to book a place in the quarter-finals.
The two Parkhead players shared an emotional moment at the end of the contest when the right-back offered words of comfort to a tear-stricken Maeda and kissed his head.
