All roads lead to Ibrox on Monday as Rangers entertain Celtic in the second Glasgow Derby of the season.
Ange Postecoglou's men boast a nine-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership and the green and white half of Glasgow claimed the city bragging rights with a thumping 4-0 win at Parkhead back in September with a double from Liel Abada, and counters from Jota and David Turnbull.
The Hoops warmed up for the clash in Govan with a convincing 4-0 victory over Easter Road at Ibrox with Australian midfielder Aaron Mooy netting his first two goals for the club.
Has Postecoglou's compatriot played his way into the starting eleven at Ibrox after his brace in Edinburgh?
After his display in the capital, the 57-year-old was full of glowing praise for the Socceroos World Cup player man and said: "Yeah, he was great. He's been knocking on the door score goal. He's been pretty desperate and a bit lucky as he's been getting into those areas. I think for us, as I said before, the World Cup was a really positive experience for all our lads there and you can see the benefits of that. Aaron's comeback really strong."
Japanese winger Daizen Maeda was also sensational against Hibs and may well have played himself into contention for Postecoglou's first outing against Michael Beale's new-look Light Blues.
That led Postecoglou to label the World Cup finals goalscorer as 'selfless' when he said: "He (Maeda) is such a selfless, team player. The amount of work he puts in, the running, sometimes for little reward or recognition. He doesn’t complain, he’s a willing runner for his team. I don’t underestimate that at all."
The guys also chat about Celtic B's match against Rangers B at Parkhead on Friday afternoon and discuss the fact football is in mourning as it bids farewell to Brazilian superstar, and global icon, Pele.
The legend sadly passed away at 82 years of age. Pele remains the only player to have lifted the World Cup on three separate occasions - 1958, 1962 and 1970. The famous number 10 is credited with scoring a world record of 1,281 goals in 1,363 career appearances - including 77 in 92 matches for Brazil. He is arguably the greatest player of all time.
