Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis has not left the building yet. The Hoops are said to be stalling over concluding a deal for the Greece international with Major League Soccer side Atlanta United.

The Americans have tabled an offer for the 28-year-old which comprises of a loan with an option to buy at the end of it. However, it's being reported that the Scottish champions want a straight transfer before green-lighting any move Stateside.

Japanese outfit Urawa Red Diamonds reportedly have a £4million bid on the table for Giakoumakis but the Greek's preferred destination is the MLS with four days to go until the January transfer window closes.

Giakoumakis is seeking a move away from Celtic after improved contract negotiations broke down. Last season's top Scottish Premiership marksman has also seen his first-team game-time drastically reduced due to the irresistible form of Kyogo Furuhashi. The Celtic striker has bagged 20 goals already this campaign and has nine in his last eight outings.

Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou's team head to Tayside to take on Dundee United this Sunday hoping to preserve their nine-point lead at the summit.

Kyogo and Liel Abada both took centre stage in the last Premiership fixture against the Tangerines when they blasted hat-tricks in a devastating 9-0 win for the men from Glasgow's east end. That defeat also spelt the end of Jack Ross's reign as manager.

The Aussie has some wonderful dilemma's to ponder ahead of the clash. Will Cameron Carter-Vickers and Greg Taylor return to the Celtic defence? Is there a place in the starting line-up for Japanese midfielder Tomoki Iwata?

Has Aaron Mooy done enough to justify not being rotated this time around? Will Giakoumakis get the chance to say a proper farewell to the Celtic faithful or will Korean attacker Oh Hyeon-gyu take his bow in the city of discovery?
