Elsewhere, Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is being linked with the vacant job at Leeds United after the Elland Road club pulled the trigger on the one-time Hoops managerial target Jesse Marsch.
The Australian has been named among the bookies' favourites to replace Jesse Marsch at Elland Road. The American was sacked yesterday after a poor run of form which saw the Lilywhites drop to 17th in the English Premier League.
Postecoglou has reputedly been on the radar of a few English top-flight clubs this season, with Southampton, Wolves, Brighton and Everton casting admiring glances north of the border due to the work he has carried out in Glasgow east end over the past 18 months.
Meanwhile, January signing Alistair Johnston has revealed that he is "taking Scottish lessons" by watching the popular TV show Still Game.
The Canada international joined Celtic in December before making his official debut and impressing in the Glasgow Derby against Rangers on January 2 which finished in a 2-2 draw.
In a story published on his Instagram account, Johnston posted a photograph of his television playing the first episode of the first season of the popular show alongside the caption "taking Scottish lessons".
Johnston has proved to be an early Celtic fans' favourite since his arrival in Glasgow and has started the last five matches for Postecoglou's side, helping the team keep four clean sheets in that time.
