Joe Hart: The ex-England and Manchester City No.1 has experienced many big games in his career thus far and dealt with one feeble effort from Ryan Kent in the opening 45. He sprinted off his line to thwart Scott Arfield at a critical stage in the game and was beaten all ends up by a Ryan Jack strike that cracked back off the crossbar. 8
Josip Juranovic: The Croatian full-back coped excellently well with the threat of Ryan Kent. Defensively he was outstanding and linked the play well with Abada at every turn. He is just loving life at Celtic right now. 9
Cameron Carter-Vickers: The USA internationalist just oozes class. He instils so much confidence in the rest and is a total rock at the back of the pack. He was dominant in the air and Celtic will be determined to persuade the centre-back to sign on the dotted line permanently come May. 8
Carl Starfelt: The Swedish centre-back put an early marker down on Kemar Roofe. He never gave the Rangers hitman a sniff all evening and did likewise with Fashion Sakala when the Zambian entered the game. The rugged stopper is one of the unsung heroes in the Celtic team. 8
Greg Taylor: The Scotland left-back didn't always see the ball but he dragged Diallo into positions where he did not want to go and linked well with Jota all evening. He coped a sore one from Scott Arfield after the break but was as safe as houses. 8
Callum McGregor: The skipper's inclusion handed Celtic a massive boost and the masked midfielder was booked for fouling Scott Arfield on 22 minutes. However, his influence in this Celtic side can never be under-estimated and he dove-tailed with his teammates in the engine room superbly well. 8
Reo Hatate: The Japanese midfielder was a class apart. He produced two superb goals straight out of the top drawer. He unleashed a beauty past Allan McGregor after just four minutes and then scored an absolute belter on 42 minutes when he curled home a cracker to make it 2-0. Minutes later he appeared on the left to cross for Abada to score the third. 9
Matt O'Riley: The midfielder coped with his first Glasgow derby with ease. He continues to impress in a Celtic jersey and showed a neat repertoire of technical skills all evening and was involved in the lead-up for the second goal. He is tidy and effective and there is a fantastic football player in the making here. 9
Liel Abada: The Israeli winger was right up for it and he teed up Giakoumakis for his strike and was causing real havoc with his movement. Set up Hatate for his second strike. He left Borna Barisic in his slipstream to score the third as he wanted it more for his 13th goal of an unbelievable campaign so far and limped off after an hour. 8
Jota: The Portuguese pin-up teased, tantalised and tormented James Tavernier down the flank and stung the palms of McGregor with a rasping shot in the first half. Like most of his teammates, he rather enjoyed his evening and his movement was sharp. A terrific display. 8
Giorgos Giakoumakis: The Greek hitman continues to polarise opinion but was unlucky as he was denied by a decent stop by McGregor from his header and two first-half drives in a pulsating opening 45 minutes. He put in a real shift and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet. 7
Substitutes:
Daizen Maeda: The Japanese striker replaced Giakoumakis for his bow after the hour mark. 5
James Forrest: Came on for Abada for his 25th taste of the Glasgow derby after an hour. 5
James McCarthy: He was given closing 18 minutes in place of Hatate. 4
Ben Doak: Flung on for last five minutes in place of Jota.
Ismalia Soro: Came on for O'Riley with five minutes to go.
Substitutes not used: Scott Bain, Liam Scales, Anthony Ralston, Stephen Welsh.
