CELTIC's Supporter Liaison Officer has explained the club's "season ticket holder first" approach to away fan attendances.
No fans of opposing Scottish clubs have been allowed in to Celtic Park so far this season in either the Premiership or Premier Sports Cup.
The latest side to make the announcement of no travelling supporters at Parkhead was Dundee United.
The Arabs last night revealed they'd been informed by Celtic officials that they would receive no tickets - similar to Raith Rovers in the League Cup on Thursday night.
This news has sparked fury among United fans and Scottish football followers in general - with Rangers currently not allowing away supporters into Ibrox either.
And with no PPV stream option made available by Celtic for travelling fans either, this appears to leave Dundee United supporters in the shadows.
However, replying to a Twitter thread criticising the Hoops, John Paul Taylor - Celtic's SLO - fully explained the club's current position.
He wrote: "We need a section for our visually impaired and disabled STHs', it needs to be a dedicated area with easy access and exiting.
"Area 120 is the only place that we can provide that whilst the JRG insist on a Red Zone.
"No harm to away fans but we have to look after our STH's first."
In a short statement regarding the situation, Dundee United told fans they are looking in to the possibility of beaming the match within the hospitality area at Tannadice - subject to agreement with Celtic and the SPFL.
