Joe Hart: The former England number one's handling was as safe as houses but once again he was very rarely tested by a shot-shy Saints team. That's three clean sheets in a row for Hart - no wonder he readily admits that he is loving his football right now. 8
Anthony Ralston: The full-back certainly had his work cut out trying to shackle the marauding Callum Booth. He put in a tremendous first-half challenge on David Wotherspoon in the box as the Saints midfielder looked to threaten. He picked out Giorgos Giakoumakis with a fantastic assist for the opening goal and is riding the crest of a wave at the minute in a Celtic shirt. 8
Cameron Carter-Vickers: The USA international put in an early crunching tackle on Chris Kane and almost snatched an early opening goal from a corner-kick. Both he and Starfelt marshalled Kane and Middleton superbly all afternoon. The defender was the victim of an outrageous kick and punch by Kane and, amazingly, he copped a booking when the St Johnstone player should have seen red. 8
Carl Starfelt: The Swedish defender is showing increasing signs of settling into his role at Celtic and dove-tailed neatly with Carter-Vickers. Looked composed and reassured, won his fair share of aerial duels and put in a terrific sliding challenge on Craig Bryson when he looked certain to burst clean through on goal. 7
Josip Juranovic: It was a welcome return for the Croatian international after a month-long injury lay-off. He linked well with Jota down the left flank and it was his speculative shot on goal that led to the incident for Giakoumakis' goal. He kept his cool to slot home from the penalty spot to make it 2-0 and he can be satisfied with his contribution. 7
Callum McGregor: The skipper rattled in a fantastic drive on 11 minutes which was saved by Zander Clark's boot and saw another decent effort deflected wide. He seemed to be at the hub of everything that is creative and good about the team. He really is the fulcrum of this Celtic side and he put in another effective display. 8
David Turnbull: The midfielder had bagged two goals in his last two games but, like midfield partner Rogic, he struggled to make any real impact or influence the play as much as he would have liked. He also never got in a position to produce another howitzer. 6

Jota: The Portuguese wingers delivery was bang on the money in midweek for Kyogo but some of his crosses just eluded both strikers especially in the first half. His trickery and dancing feet on the flank was always a vital asset and he was a constant menace. He was denied a second goal by a fantastic last gasp sliding challenge by Ali Crawford. 7
Tom Rogic: The Aussie got his angles all mixed up when he was brilliantly teed up by McGregor but he skewed a weak effort wide. The midfielder flitted in and out of proceedings but probably let his own very high standards drop on the day. 6
Kyogo Furuhashi: The Japanese striker was constantly on the move and his pace was electric despite being deployed in a wider right role to accommodate Giakoumakis. He was also happy to muck in and do the dirty work and helped out his defence whenever he could. Kyogo is much more effective when functioning through the middle but is nonetheless always a bundle of energy and enthusiasm and won the penalty for Juranovic's clincher. 7
Giorgos Giakoumakis: The Greek striker was handed his first start for Celtic after three substitute appearances. He was in the right place at the right time to adjust his position and volley home a fine instinctive effort from Ralston's cross on 34 minutes to put the hosts ahead. The hitman lurked about the six-yard box all afternoon and was replaced by Mikey Johnston on the hour mark. 7
Substitutes
Mikey Johnston: Given another chance to show what he could do after an impressive cameo against Ferencvaros when he replaced Giakoumakis on the hour. He gave Celtic some fresh impetus in the final third and was inches away from turning in Ralston's dangerous cross for the second goal and also cracked in a great effort that crashed back off the post. 6
Liel Abada: The Israeli winger was given a nine-minute cameo role when points were in the bag.
Albian Ajeti: Thrown on for the final five minutes. 1
Substitutes not used: Scott Bain, Nir Bitton, Adam Montgomery, Stephen Welsh.
