HIBS defender Ryan Porteous has been criticised over a "dangerous" tackle on Celtic skipper Callum McGregor.
The Hibees stopper was earlier this month embroiled in a row after being sent off for a tackle on Joe Aribo in the loss to Rangers.
And after returning to the Hibs side after suspension, Porteous has been caught up in another tackle storm.
The defender was booked in last night's 3-1 loss to Celtic after a tackle on McGregor on the edge of the area.
Porteous went to ground to challenge for the ball and connected before his left foot collided with McGregor's shin.
Tam McManus has now slammed the challenge after defending Porteous when he received vile abuse for his tackle on Aribo.
The former Hibs player explained: "I defended Ryan stoutly for his tackle at Ibrox as felt he made a genuine attempt to win ball & no malice to hurt the player.
"But this is poor imo & i said so at time.
"Going back 2-3 seasons ago trying to win ball & leave a bit on player.
"Don’t like it at all & it’s dangerous."
