Joe Hart: The Celtic number one sliced one behind to give the visitors an early corner and misjudged the bounce on a long ball in the second half. Livingston rarely threatened his goal and, the opening seconds apart, he was confident in everything else that he did. 7

Anthony Ralston: The right-back put in some brilliant crosses into the danger area all afternoon but sadly for Celtic there were no takers. He also had a rare left-footed effort headed off the line by Jack Fitzwater as he looked to claim his fifth goal of a wonderful campaign so far. 8

Cameron Carter-Vickers: The American can do absolutely no wrong in a Celtic jersey at the minute and is becoming a firm fan favourite. The centre-back possesses raw, natural strength and is also a reassuring presence at the back of the pack. 8

Carl Starfelt: The Swedish defender is still looking for his first goal for Celtic and he guided a header just over the top prior to the interval. He was dovetailing superbly with his defensive partner Carter-Vickers before his right hamstring went on 56 minutes and he was replaced by Kyogo Furuhashi. 6

Josip Juranovic: The Croatian defender took a sore one in the eye in midweek but recovered to take his place in the starting XI. He is looking every inch the international player and linked the play well down the left with Jota and skied an effort over the top. Having scored two out of two from the penalty spot, goodness only knows why he didn't take the penalty late on. 7

Nir Bitton: The Israeli midfielder came in to replace the injured Tom Rogic and was calm and assured. He really ought to have done better from Liel Abada's slide-rule pass into the box but his lack of control at that moment failed to see him go clean through on goal. He was switched to centre-back when Starfelt had to go off. 6

Callum McGregor: The skipper was deployed in a more advanced role and was the victim of an inexplicable decision by the referee Bobby Madden after Jason Holt had tried to foul him as he was bearing down on the Livi defence. More evidence that the Celtic captain is clearly being targeted by opposition players as they know everything flows through him. 7

Liel Abada: The Israeli winger returned to the starting fold, had a shot saved in the first minute and then peppered the Livingston box with crosses from out wide. Both he and Ralston offered a decent outlet on the right-hand side and he crashed in a drive that was deflected over the top before being replaced by Mikey Johnston on 57 minutes. 6

David Turnbull: The Scotland midfielder probed away and brilliantly teed up Ralston for his effort that was headed off the line. However, despite being able to beat players with relative ease his final pass into the danger area was not always on point. That said, he did float a cracking pass to Jota, who took a fresh-air swipe when it mattered most. 7

Jota: The Portuguese winger showed some wonderful trickery and touches of class with his skills. He plucked one out of the sky beautifully at one point with a sublime piece of control in the first 45 to rapturous applause. Later, he fluffed his lines with an attempted volley following Turnbull's cross. 7

Giorgos Giakoumakis: The Greek striker scored on his first start last weekend but cut a rather frustrated figure here as all the crosses into the box in the first half evaded him. He gave the impression of someone trying too hard to desperately impress - something summed up by his shocking penalty before blowing a golden chance to grab an injury-time winner. 5

Mikey Johnston: Replaced Abada on 58 minutes and his twinkle-toed feet tried to dance around the Livi defence to create the vital chance. 4

James Forrest: The winger replaced Jota with just nine minutes to go and it was a delight to see him take to the park once again.
