CELTIC MUST MAKE JOTA DEAL PERMANENT

A lot has been said about Kyogo hitting the ground running since his summer move to Glasgow, but Jota has been equally as impressive. Celtic need to go all out and get him tied down on a permanent deal. £6.5million is the rumoured fee they would have to pay Benfica and on his current form that would certainly be worth paying. His pace, finishing and movement is up there with the best in the league and again against Dundee he proved that with two tidy finishes. Jota and Kyogo appear to be forming a real understanding and they look so dangerous every time they venture into the final third.

RALSTON ON FIRE AFTER NEW DEAL

Anthony Ralston was rewarded with a new Celtic deal this week after a stunning season working under Ange Postecoglou. Many had Ralston written off as a Celtic regular with him playing a bit part role at Parkhead over the past few seasons, with loan stints at St Johnstone and Dundee United wedged in between. He looks like a player full of confidence now and his deliveries into the box from the right flank are sublime. The 22-year-old provided two assists for his teammates and was a constant threat as he looked to hit the byline at every opportunity.

FORREST BACK ON TRACK

After getting 20 minutes against Ferencvaros on Thursday it was once again pleasing to see James Forrest back on the pitch at Dens. The Scotland international came on at the hour mark and he looked sharp considering his lengthy lay off. His pace caused Dundee problems in the late stages of the match and on a number of occasions he jinked his way to byline before crossing into the box. He also teed up Giorgos Giakoumakis for a chance late on, but the Greek forward failed to take his opportunity. Forrest adds a different dimension to the Celtic frontline and Postecoglou will be delighted to have him back.
