Celtic are moving to secure the signature of wing sensation Jota as the Portuguese star continues to impress in the Hoops, according to a report.
The 22-year-old was signed on a year-long loan contract from Benfica with a £6.5m option to make the contract permanent at the end of the season.
Pedro Almeida, a transfer “insider” based in Portugal with over 35,000 Twitter followers, claims the Hoops are now looking to move forward and secure the star’s future in Scotland.

Jota was man of the match in yesterday’s 1-0 Premier Sports Cup semi-final win over St Johnstone after a showing of outstanding quality.
It was his cross from the left-flank that led to James Forrest’s goal while an outrageous ‘rabona’ flick earned him significant praise – and endless repeat watches on social media - from adoring fans.
He has six goals and six assists for Ange Postecoglou’s men in 15 appearances so far this season.
