WEIGHING UP LIAM SCALES
It was a first start for Liam Scales in the Scottish Prmiership as Ange Postecoglou shuffled the pack in Dingwall.
The Irish defender was deployed at left-back with Josip Juranovic given the nod at right-wing and Anthony Ralston back in at right-back.
And on his first-half showing Scales was mighty impressive. Driving runs downs the line and confident defending appeared to stake his claim for a first-team spot.
It was capped by a tremendous assists for Abada's opener as he sprinted through on the left and whipped low across goal for the attacker to tap home.
Unfortunately for Scales he was caught napping for County's leveller. He lost Jack Baldwin from a corner and could only watch as the defender volleyed home.
CARL STARFELT SEES RED
For all the attention on changes including Scales, Anthony Ralston and Adam Montgomery - it was an eventful night for Carl Starfelt.
The defender was sent off with just over ten minutes left with the match finely poised at 1-1.
He was first shown a booking after his protests following an aerial battle with Jordan White which left his nose bloodied.
And while he could be aggrieved about his first, the second was silly. He lost Regan Charles-Cook on the wing and hauled down the County winger.
It was one of his only fouls but he paid the price for the foul after his first contentious card.
LAST-GASP WINNER FOR RALSTON
Anthony Ralston has been a revelation for Celtic this season and he continued to add to his stock with a vital late winner.
The match looked destined to end in a draw before the full-back headed home with seconds left on the clock after six minutes added time.
It was a huge moment for Celtic and Ralston with the header keeping Ange Postecoglou's side within four points of league leaders Rangers.
The header also masks over another frustrating night for Celtic in the final third with the side unable to find the net more than once until Ralston's dramatic winner.
It is however understandable if Celtic struggled up top with Jota, Giorgos Giakoumakis, Kyogo, James Forrest and Mikey Johnston all out injured and a makeshift spearhead in attack.
