GOALKEEPER Joe Hart has hailed the club's supporters for 'living and breathing Celtic', pointing out that they are not disrespectful towards other fanbases 'apart from the obvious'.
The former England internationalist moved to Parkhead from Spurs in the summer and has quickly established himself as Ange Postecoglou's first choice in goal.
The 34-year-old was in fine form in Sunday's Premier Sports Cup final victory over Hibernian, denying Joe Newell at the death to ensure his side went home with winner's medals.
Appearing on talkSPORT, Hart was asked if he had been told by Celtic supporters that he was now playing at the biggest club of his career.
The former ManchesterCity No.1 laughed: "I feel at the moment they don't really need to sell themselves. That is for other people to argue.
"From what I'm getting from a true Celtic fan, they don't really talk about anyone else. They are not particularly disrespectful about any other teams, apart from the obvious!
"When it comes to their club they live, they breath and are proud to be Celtic.
"Everyone else, great, go and do your thing. [There have been] a lot of nods towards what went on at Manchester City, but they are not particularly bothered about anyone else."
Hart added that he had been warned that Glasgow's goldfish bowl isn't quite like anywhere else before he moved to Celtic this summer and admitted that he had to experience it first-hand in order to truly understand the unique demands placed on players in Glasgow's east end.
"The common message is you don't know what you are getting yourself into until you are up there, and that's so true," he explained.
"I don't say that because I want to impress anyone - I'm not particularly bothered whether people believe me or not, because it is something you have to experience.
"When you do, it's special and it's a great place to be and I'm enjoying it."
