WITH January almost upon us the opportunity for Celtic to strengthen their hand edges nearer.
Reports that the first 2022 recruit will be Yokohama F Marinos forward Daizen Maeda have gathered steam in the past couple of days while two other J1 League players could follow him to Glasgow.
How will Maeda fit in? Does he displace one of Ange Postecoglou's regular starters or compliment them?
Outwith the Japanese trio, Celtic have been linked with Hannes Wolf of Borussia Monchengladbach while the club has confirmed Christopher Jullien is returning to training during the winter break.
