SINCE pulling on the green and white hoops in September, Jota has been a revelation.

The 22-year-old Portuguese winger has eight goals and six assists already this campaign with the clamour for his signing to be made permanent only increasing with each week.

Given Celtic have an option to buy in their loan deal, when would be the best time to exercise it? Is there a case to be made for waiting a while longer as opposed to tying him down in January?

Elsewhere, while the arrival of new recruits dominates the discourse just a few days into January, there are also potential exits to think of.

Ewan Henderson appears set for a move to Hibernian while the case for Liam Shaw going out on loan has been strengthened by the signings of Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi.

Shaw's fellow summer signing Osaze Urhoghide, meanwhile, has also found game-time hard to come by and could benefit from a similar chance at regular football.
