HIBS are reportedly preparing for a number of bids for Martin Boyle with Celtic linked with the winger.
It's claimed Ange Postecoglou is considering a move for the Australian attacker with clubs in the Middle East also interested.
The Times report both Celtic and an unnamed club in Abu Dhabi are looking into tabling an offer for Boyle.
However, Hibs are thought to be holding out for offers of around £3million if they are to consider a transfer deal.
It comes after a £500,000 bid for Boyle from Aberdeen was knocked back by Hibs chiefs in the summer.
Celtic manager Postecoglou has been busy already in January bringing in Japanese trio Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi from the J-League.
He's also been linked with a deal to bring Johnny Kenny from Sligo Rovers, but it's yet to be confirmed whether he'll firm up any interest in Boyle.
Speaking about Boyle in October, Celtic boss Postecoglou said: “I know Martin really well. I was pretty pleased when he chose to play for Australia because there was a bit of an arm wrestle when it came to who he was going to play for.
"He's done really well for the national team so I'm well aware of him. He's a good player and it's not easy playing for Australia. Unlike other national teams, he's got to do long-haul travel and getting back to this part of the world isn't easy. So he's handled that really well."
