Joe Hart: The former England and Manchester City number one returned to the first-team fold after missing out on Boxing Day in Perth. He was scrambling along his line when Kevin Nisbet hit the post when it looked easier to score. He was a virtual spectator in the opening 45 but kept his concentration when he superbly plucked Chris Cadden's cross from the left as Nisbet waited to pounce after the restart. 8
Josip Juranovic: The Croatian international was preferred at right-back to Anthony Ralston and he peppered the Hibs penalty area with some terrific deliveries from the right-hand side. He despatched the penalty with ease to make it 2-0 in the 25th minute after Josh Doig had handled in the box. 8
Cameron Carter-Vickers: The USA defender has been a mainstay of the meanest defence in the Scottish Premiership but was caught on his heels when Nisbet struck the woodwork. The on-loan Spurs star got a vital block on the Hibs striker to prevent a certain goal and was otherwise rock solid and totally assured. He was denied a goal due to a foul from his defensive partner Carl Starfelt. 8
Carl Starfelt: The Swedish defender was inches away from heading home a second and third goal in an impressive performance. He defended like his life depended on it all evening and looks like a totally revitalised player at the back of the Celtic pack. He cut an imposing figure and did not seem to loe an aerial contest, although his infringement did prevent Carter-Vickers from making it 3-0. 9
Greg Taylor: The Scotland international held on to his left-back berth and it was his superb killer pass into the path of Liel Abada that led to the handball incident which saw Josip Juranovic coolly stroke the penalty home. He passed with pinpoint accuracy all evening as his final product was on the money. 8
Callum McGregor: The skipper was influential and full of energy. Alongside Reo Hatate the captain was positively thriving and looked extremely lively in the engine room. He helped Celtic look threatening every time they ventured forward. 8
Reo Hatate: The 24-year-old Japanese midfielder picked up some fantastic positions to break the Hibs lines - he seemed to be everywhere. His passing was exquisite and his composure was excellent. He forced Matt Macey into a fine diving save from a snapshot from the edge of the box and missed a chance after the break but his aggression and vision combined for a wonderful debut and he looks like a class act. 9

Tom Rogic: The Australian midfielder has been in top-class form this season and was celebrating his ninth anniversary at the club. It was the Wizard of Oz who ghosted into the box and fed Daizen Maeda who calmly stroked home the opener. He also volleyed a glorious chance wide after 18 minutes. He always looked capable of creating something special. 8
Liel Abada: The Israeli forced the turnover from the press then played in Rogic who fed Maeda and he did the rest. He also forced Josh Doig into a handball and won the spot-kick from which Juranovic made it 2-0. He looked sharp and direct and forced Macey into a diving stop after the break before colliding with the post after hitting the upright. 7
James Forrest: It was a welcome return to the starting fold for wide man Forrest and both he and Abada were getting down the flanks and crossing the ball into the danger area to great effect. He curled a deflected effort just wide before the interval and warmed the hands of Macey in the second. He was another who was keen to press high up the pitch and put in the hard yards for the team. 7
Daizen Maeda: The Japanese striker was handed his debut in front of a full-house Celtic Park and the 24-year-old clinically slotted the ball home inside four minutes to get his Celtic career off to the perfect start. The striker is clearly cut from the same cloth as Kyogo Furuhashi and chased everything down to display a tremendous work ethic. He combined that with measured and controlled aggression in another tremendous debut. 8
