ANGE POSTECOGLOU was quick to shut down BBC reporter Chick Young after he likened Celtic ace Reo Hatate to Parkhead hero Shunsuke Nakamura.
Hatate picked up the man of the match award last night as the Hoops defeated Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.
Young was impressed by the Japanese international and his display reminded him of Nakamura.
But Postecoglou was quick to issue a reminder that Hatate is a player in his own right.
Young asked on BBC Sportsound: “Watching Hatate and his touch on the ball just reminded me so much of Shunsuke Nakamura, he could be a bit of a cult figure like that, is he?”
And Postecoglou responded: “No, he is Rio Hatate mate. He will make his own mark. He is a very talented young player and he is a very determined young man.
“He is one that has his eyes on reaching the very top in football. I am glad to have him in our football club at the moment.
“We will try and get the best out of him and push him to the levels that we know he can get to.”
