ANGE POSTECOGLOU has delievred an update on the injury situation at Celtic ahead of their trip to Hearts tomorrow night.
The main concerns for the Hoops boss are skipper Callum McGregor and new boy Yosuke Ideguchi.
Both playes sustained serious knocks at the week as Celtic overcame Alloa 2-1 in the Scottish Cup.
McGregor picked up a nasty-looking facial injury, while Ideguchi was on the receiving end of a sore one from the Wasps' Mouhamed Niang.
And while Scotland star McGregor is feeling better, Postecoglou insists that does not mean it's not a serious injury.
He told the media: "It wasn't just concussion, he obviously got a significant facial injury. We'll give him the time he needs to recover. I said yesterday he was feeling better, but that doesn't mean it's not a serious injury.
"I'm not going to put a timescale on it, I'm not in the medical profession. At the moment all we're concerned about is Callum McGregor the person.
"This is not just about football, he's had a significant injury. We just want to make sure he recovers and feels good."
On Ideguchi, he commented: "Quite obvious it was a significant injury, although it could have been a hell of a lot worse. Disappointing that he's had to deal with that."
Liel Abada will be fine to return for tomorrow night's trip.
