CELTIC pair Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate have been called up by Japan.
The duo have been included in Hajime Moriyasu's squad for the World Cup qualifying double-header later this month.
Japan take on Australia and Vietnam on March 24 and March 29 respectively as they bid to qualify for the World Cup later this year.
And while Hatate and Maeda have made the squad for the fixtures - injured Jyogo Furhashi has not been included.
The Japanese international has been out of action since Boxing Day with a hamstring issue and yet to return to competitive action.
Yosuke Ideguchi is another Celtic-Japan player who missed out on a call-up to represent his country despite his recent return.
It's thought Maeda and Hatate will fly out to join the international squad after the match against Ross County on March 19.
And following the qualifiers they'll make the trip back to Glasgow in time for the crucial Glasgow derby fixture against Rangers on April 3.
