CHRIS SUTTON has blasted the "absolute scumbags" who threw glass bottles onto the pitch during the Rangers vs Celtic clash.
Kick-off in the second-half was delayed for around five minutes after a broken bottle was discovered in the penalty area where Joe Hart was headed towards.
The Celtic keeper was pictured in discussions with Willie Collum and his assistant as he highlighted the broken glass in the penalty area.
Ibrox staff then swarmed the penalty box to gather any broken glass before the match could restart.
And Sutton condemned those responsible for throwing the glass bottle on the pitch as he warned "this is how this game will be remembered".
Slamming the incident on Twitter, he wrote: "Absolute scumbags throwing glass bottles on to the pitch.
"How low can some people go.
"This is how this game will be remembered now."
