CELTIC have been credited with an interest in Hammarby defender Mohanad Jeahze.
The 25-year-old, who plays at left-back, would likely command a fee of around £2million.
The Iraq internationalist is highy regarded by the Swedish club and has already attracted a bid from Polish outfit Lech Poznan that was rejected.
The Scottish Sun claim that Ange Postecoglou is keen on bringing in defensive reinforcements during the summer transfer window and report that the Parkhead club are weighing up a bid for the full-back.
Jeahze is out of contract in December 2023 and the report adds that 'Hammarby won’t stand in his way if Celtic table an acceptable offer'.
The Celtic manager currently rotates between Greg Taylor and Josip Juranovic at left-back, while Irish defender Liam Scales has also featured there this season.
Boli Bolingoli is expected to depart Glasgow this summer while Adam Montgomery, Postecoglou's other choice at left-back, will return from a loan spell at Aberdeen at the end of the season.
