CELTIC'S legendary Lisbon Lions team have been named the greatest ever club side.
A recent poll conducted by BBC Sport has placed the Hoops' 1967 European Cup heroes as the best team to ever win the competition.
Jock Stein famously led the Glasgow giants to their biggest ever honour, with captain Billy McNeill lifting the trophy in Lisbon following victory over Inter Milan.
The win of course meant that Celtic were the first ever British side to lift the top club trophy.
Goals from Tommy Gemmell and Stevie Chalmers saw the Hoops come from behind to win 2-1.
The triumph is undoubtedly regarded as Celtic's greatest ever achievement in their history.
Now, according to the Beeb's poll, the majority of fans believe they're the greatest club team to win the tournament.
The Lisbon lions won the poll with 34 per cent of the vote.
Pep Guardiola's Barcelona team of 2010/11, featuring Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, David Villa and more were in second spot, with 24 per cent.
Sir Alex Ferguson's famous treble winning team of 1998/99 finished third in the vote, on just 14 per cent.
The most recent team to feature on the shortlist was Bayern Munich's squad of 2012/13.
