A CELTIC fan made the most of his time in the spotlight by giving Ange Postecoglou a shout out on Radio 1.
Caller Tam phoned in for Arielle Free’s Early Breakfast Show on Radio 1 to play the “Beat or Repeat” game, in which the listener must dethrone the current on repeat song with a choice of their own.
Glaswegian Tam – affectionately nicknamed “Tam Bond” for the duration due to working for Aston Martin – picked the Gerry Cinnamon song ‘Belter’, but the host opted to stick with the current champion in Layo and Bushwacka's ‘Love Story.’
Tam was not done there though, as before he was cut off the air he had a final message to get out.
He said: "A big shout out to big Ange Postecoglou - we never stop!"
Presenter Arielle seemed happy enough to join in cheering as she thanked Tam for his call, but it is not clear if she actually knew what the caller was talking about.
A number of Hoops fans have taken to social media to applaud Mr. Bond, one saying: “Guy on beat or repeat on Radio 1 giving Ange a shout out has made my week - legend!”
Tam has been branded a “top man” for his antics and has fellow followers of Ange in stitches.
