Everything that Ange Postecoglou said to Celtic TV after the 7-0 pre-season victory over SC Weiner Viktoria in Austria...

The first game of pre-season is done, seven goals, a good run-out, how do you assess that?

Yeah, it was OK. Obviously, we have just started pre-season. The boys that played today are the ones who came in earlier and sort of had an extra week under their belt. We had a good couple of days here and the boys are working hard and we are not going into these friendly games feeling fresh because we are pushing the boys hard. Considering all of that the intent and the effort were good, particularly in the first half. I was pleased with the overall effort.

It was great to score seven goals but how much is it about fitness and tactics that you are trying to implement?

It is about everything. It is about fitness. It is about playing our football and the standards we set. Everything is included. Irrespective of whether it is the first game or last game of pre-season we just want to make a mark with everything we do. For the most part, it was positive.

How do you assess the younger players' performance and their overall work in pre-season so far?

It has been good as during pre-season we have had guys come in at different stages and this is a window of opportunity for the young boys to come in and experience the environment and for us to look at them. They have all acquitted themselves well and realised what's required at this level. They have been solid contributors and they were today.

You still have more doubles sessions in training before taking on Rapid Vienna as the opposition and the intensity increases, how much are you looking forward to that task?

It doesn't change for us irrespective of who the opposition is as we have just got to keep working to our standards and our levels and we still have some hard work to put in with the boys and they are willing participants in that as they want it and they know that this is the time for us to lay a strong foundation for what is ahead. We have had a good couple of days of training and hopefully, it is a good strong finish to the week.
