CELTIC ace Matt O'Riley has confirmed he's aware of transfer interest from Leicester.
The Parkhead midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League club under Brendan Rodgers.
And now he has admitted he's heard of interest from down south. However, O'Riley insists Celtic is the perfect place for him at the current time.
Speaking to Bold about the Leiecester interest, O'Riley commented: “I've heard a bit about the interest from Leicester, but it's not something I'm thinking about right now.
"The transfer window is quite crazy with rumours and interest.
"Right now though, I think Celtic is a good place to be.
"I have good friends around me, my relationship with the coach is good, and the fans are special.
"I feel that Celtic is the perfect place for me, but obviously it's great to have interest because it means I'm playing well."
O'Riley's career has taken off at Celtic Park but is just the latest in his recent upward trajectory after spells with Fulham and MK Dons.
The 21-year-old turned down a new deal at Fulham to sign for MK Dons where he impressed in a year-long stint before being snapped up by Celtic.
And since his move north, O'Riley has earned a call-up to the Denmark under-21 side and attracted interest from Leicester.
On the crazy 12 months for him, O'Riley said: "A lot has happened, yes. Maybe a little too much.
"I try not to think too much about the future, but of course it's nice for me to know that a club like Leicester is interested."
