Stephen Welsh has been forced to miss Celtic's game with Ross County due to illness, manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed.
Welsh scored the opening goal in last week's 2-0 Premiership opening win over Aberdeen but his absence from the matchday squad for the trip to Dingwall was notable.
Celtic manager Postecoglou confirmed in the build-up to kick-off that the defender is not injured but felt ill.
Moritz Jenz has been handed his competitive Celtic debut in Welsh's stead, with Carl Starfelt returning to the squad after two months out injured.
"Unfortunately Stephen pulled up a bit ill after training yesterday," Postecoglou told BBC Sportsound. "He misses out but Moritz has been training well and gets his first start for us - we're confident he'll do well."
