Celtic have once again been credited with an interest in Marseille star Bamba Dieng, according to reports.
The Senegalese international, 22, scored seven and bagged three assists in 25 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
Dieng, who has been branded as the “new Sadio Mane” in his homeland, has also been linked with the Hoops before while a Premier League move to the likes of Leeds United and Newcastle United has also been mooted.
According to French outlet hommedumatch.fr, Marseille boss Andre Villas-Boas doesn’t see the youngster as part of his plans for this season and Celtic have “courted” the Ligue 1 side over a potential transfer.
However, it has been reported they’re looking for a price in the region of £8m for the Senegalese forward which may price the Scottish champions out of a move.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have also expressed interest in in-demand Barcelona winger Alex Collado.
The 23-year-old is amongst a host of players who will be allowed to move on from the Camp Nou this summer.
