Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou says a deal for Sead Haksabanovic is 'getting close' as the Hoops gear up for this week's Champions League draw.
Postecoglou's men defeated Hearts 2-0 thanks to goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Giorgos Giakoumakis on Sunday, making it four wins from four in the defence of their Premiership title in the process.
Several outlets have reported that Haksabanovic - a Montenegro international - is in the offing for the Parkhead side.
When asked by Sky Sports if reports a deal for Haksabanovic was getting closer, Postecoglou replied: "Yeah, I think that's a fair assessment. It's getting close."
Pushed if it could potentially be done this week, he reiterated: "It's getting close."
Postecoglou went on to praise his men for a disciplined performance against the Jambos, who had two players sent off.
"It was a tough game," he said. "It felt like a game where there was not a lot of rhythm in it and there was a lot of stop-starting and there was not a great flow to the game in general.
"We created some good opportunities, which we didn't take, and we never really got threatened so overall it was solid."
