Willie Collum will the man in the middle when he takes charge of Celtic’s League Cup clash against Ross County on Wednesday.
The Lanarkshire whistler came under major criticism from Hibernian and Rangers for his performance in last weekend’s Scottish Premiership encounter as John Lundstram’s red card was quickly downgraded to a yellow by the SFA.
The 43-year-old has been dropped a level this weekend after being appointed to be the man in the middle at Ochilview for the Scottish Championship clash between Queen’s Park and Cove Rangers.
However, he’s been quickly reappointed to take charge of the Hoops’ League Cup last 16 fixture in Dingwall as they look to defend their title.
Collum will be assisted by Alan Mulvanny and David Doig.
The draw for the quarter-finals will be made after the Celtic tie is completed.
