Fans could be fleeced for almost £1,700 for a pair of tickets for Celtic’s UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side travels to Glasgow next month to face Ange Postecoglou’s free-scoring Hoops and online sellers such as Live Football Tickets are charging fans a small fortune.
The site is charging £450 per ticket minimum for a seat in the Lisbon Lions or Jock Stein Stands with a pair of seats in the Main Stand or North Stand setting you back £1,300. The 'service fee and tax' charge of £195 brings the total price for the latter seats to just less than £1,700.
To put it into perspective, the price of an adult Celtic season ticket for attending all 19 Premiership home matches - plus two friendlies - is £542.
