The SPFL Trust Trophy draw took place this afternoon at Firhill and Celtic B have been handed a difficult draw away to League One side Dunfermline.
The young Hoops have been awarded with a third-round tie after coming from two goals down to beat Albion Rovers in the first round, before producing a professional performance to dispatch Livingston B in round two.
They thrashed Dalbeattie Star 5-0 on Saturday afternoon with Adam Brooks, Bosun Lawal, Tsanelo Letsosa and a Rocco Vata brace seeing off their Lowland League counterparts.
Meanwhile, James McPake’s Pars are looking to bounce back to the Scottish Championship at the first time of asking after suffering relegation to the third tier last season.
They are currently joint top of League One having won three and drawn two of their opening five league matches.
The teams will meet on the weekend of September 24-25.
