Reported Celtic target Ross Barkley has mutually agreed to rip up his contract at Chelsea.
The 28-year-old was an outcast and Chelsea have now announced an agreement to allow Barkley to leave Stamford Bridge.
Ange Postecoglou’s champions continue to be linked with a move for the midfielder, while speculation has intensified over a move to the other side of Glasgow too. Barkley was reported to be on a whopping £200,000 a week for West London side.
The Australian has refused to rule out further additions this summer after the capture of Sead Haksabanovic from Rubin Kazan earlier in the week.
The Montenegrin international became Celtic’s eighth summer signing as they step up their preparations ahead of a return to the UEFA Champions League next month.
