Celtic B coach Stephen McManus has opened up on the change in his role at the club and working with Ange Postecoglou.
The former Hoops captain spent last season working as part of the new manager's backroom team, and that coaching setup would play its part in delivering a double.
However, this season he transitioned into a new job at Lennoxtown which saw him take over the reins in charge of the B side after Tommy McIntyre left the post.
Speaking ahead of his side's game against Real Madrid in the UEFA Youth League, the ex-Scotland international had nothing but good things to say about the Bhoys manager but was keen to stress that it will not be easy to play the exact same way as the first team.
"Last year was terrific, and I thoroughly enjoyed it," he said.
"The manager came in with different ideas, which was great, and for the staff at the football club, it was great to tap into some of his knowledge.
"I worked closely with him last year. My role changed this summer, and again, I would not say we tried to replicate how the first team have played because that would be impossible."
Despite maintaining it is not an exact science to play the same way as the Australian's team, the 39-year-old still wants to do his best to develop the young prospects coming through the club.
He continued: "However, we are doing our best at this stage in the player’s development.
"They will suffer ups and downs, but it is important we give them the knowledge and platform to give them the best possible chance to be successful football players.
"Ultimately, the goal is for them to be Celtic first team players, so with Darren and I’s knowledge, we just need to give them as much information as we possibly can and hopefully guide them along this path."
