Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has commented on referee John Beaton's decision to send off Callum McGregor against Motherwell.
The Hoops defeated Well 2-1 at Parkhead to remain top of the Premiership thanks to goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate.
Captain McGregor saw red late in the game for hauling down Steelmen striker Louis Moult as he attempted to run through on goal after intercepting a slack Hatate pass.
While Postecoglou stressed he accepted the ruling, Celtic centre-back Stephen Welsh appeared to be in the vicinity of the incident leading the manager to ponder the decision when asked about it.
Questioned if he had any complaints about the flashpoint, Postecoglou told BBC Sportsound: "Hard to see it but from my angle I thought we had a covering player. But the referee's made that decision so we've just got to cop it."
