CELTIC icon Shunsuke Nakamura is set to call time on his career.
The Japanese star looks to be ready to retire at the age of 44.
The Japan Times report that the ex-Hoops attacker will hang up his boots at the end of this season.
Nakamura left Celtic Park in 2009 just prior to his 31st birthday.
Stunningly, 13-years on he's still playing for Yokohoma FC in Japan's second tier.
The campaign comes to a close this weekend coming.
And it seems Nakamura will be bowing out in style, having helped the team secure promotion back to the J-League.
Renowned for his dead ball ability, his career has spanned for around 26-years.
Nakamura joined Celtic in 2005 after being snapped up for £2.5million by Gordon Strachan from Reggina.
Spending four seasons in Glasgow's east end, Nakamura became a hero in the eyes of the Hoops faithful, making 166 appearances and scoring 34 goals.
Nakamura won three league titles, a Scottish Cup and two League Cups.
He famously scored two world class free-kicks against Manchester United in the Champions League as well.
