Celtic loanee Albian Ajeti has scored his third goal for Strum Graz, and it was an important one.

The Swiss striker is currently on the books of the Austrian club until the end of the season, and he appears to have started to hit form.

His strike against rivals Grazer AK put his team into the fourth round of the Austrian Cup, and he now has three goals in nine competitions.

He departed on loan in the summer transfer window after a disappointing two years at Parkhead, where injuries hampered his £5 million pound move from West Ham.

The 25-year-old's contract at the Hoops expires in the summer of 2024, but he appears to be enjoying life at the Austrian Bundesliga club.

Speaking to outlet Laola, he said: "I'm happy that I was able to write a bit of history. The atmosphere was amazing.

"It's unbelievable what our fans put together. It was really a great game in a great atmosphere.

"We won. What more could you ask for?

"I'm here, I'm playing, I'm running. But of course I haven't reached my top-top level yet. Don't forget, I really haven't played for a long time.

"That's why I came. I felt the trust of the coaching team, the sporting director and the president.

"That was crucial for me. Of course, I'm now trying to give everything on the pitch and of course I'm grateful for this trust. It's important for me now to put myself in the ice bin."
