Celtic loanee Liam Scales is hoping to heap more misery on out-of-form Rangers ahead of Aberdeen's trip to Ibrox.
The Irishman is on the books of the Dons until the end of the season and has played 15 times for them so far this campaign.
His form has been good for the club and he was rewarded with a call-up to the Republic of Ireland squad for their most recent Nations League camp.
The Reds are currently sitting third in the Scottish Premiership and, with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men currently in the midst of a shaky patch of form, the 24-year-old feels it could be an opportunity for Jim Goodwin's side to get a result.
Speaking to Red TV, he said: "The mood’s good at the moment. Obviously, we’ve got the three wins off the back of a poor result against Dundee and we needed to have a good week, and we have, so the mood’s high.
“They’re a top side, and we’ve got to be at our very best, so we’re preparing for it now.
We know they play during the week, so hopefully, with fresh legs, we can go there to win the game.”
