IT looks unlikely that Celtic star Matt O'Riley will be heading to the World Cup this winter.
The 21-year-old has been left out of Denmark's preliminary squad for Qatar 2022.
Kasper Hjulmand has named his provisional squad for the tournament.
In a video posted on social media, the 21-man pool of players has been announced.
Sadly for Hoops midfielder O'Riley, he is absent from the squad.
Had he made it to the squad, or should he receive a late call-up, it would put him in line for his full international debut.
Having switched his allegiances from England to Denmark this year, to date, he's only featured for their under-21 side.
Joining from MK Dons in January, O'Riley quickly became a mainstay in Ange Postecoglou's team.

Costing only £1.5million, he appears to have been a bargain buy for Celtic.
However, his World Cup dream will need to wait for another four-years yet by the looks of it.
Hjulmand has the ability to select 26 players to take to the Middle East with him.
Therefore, there are still five spaces left, so his chances aren't dead in the water completely.
But with the deadline of November 14 approaching, it remains to be seen whether he will be named in the final cut or not.
