Former Celtic defender Jason Denayer has been added Belgium's squad for their training camp in Kuwait ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.
The centre-back, who is now on the books of United Arab Emirates side Shabab Al-Ahli, originally missed out on Roberto Martinez's 26-man squad.
However, after fitness concerns surrounding defender Jan Vertonghen, the 27-year-old was added to the group of players who were already preparing for the tournament.
While not confirmed he will be a part of the international showcase, it is thought he will be the first-choice replacement should the Anderlecht player be unable to get himself fit.
Martinez's men face Egypt in their final warm-up match tomorrow, and the former Hoops man will be hoping to force himself into the manager's plans.
The FA Cup-winning boss does not need to confirm his squad until 24 hours before his side's opening match.
Belgium have been drawn in a group with Canada, Morocco and Croatia where they will be looking to dispel demons of recent tournament failures to win their first major trophy.
