Celtic youth prospect Tobi Oluwayemi is wanted by both English and Scottish clubs for a potential loan move.

This is according to the Scottish Sun, which reports that the Englishman is a target for teams both north and south of the border.

The 19-year-old featured for the Hoops during pre-season and has been a regular for the club's B Team recently, playing in both the Lowland and UEFA Youth League.

He joined the Parkhead side in 2019 from Tottenham's academy and has since gone on to play for his country at U16 and U19 level.

Oluwayemi could be set to represent England at the upcoming U20 World Cup in Indonesia.

Speaking about the player earlier this year, Ange Postecoglou said: "Young Tobi is doing well and working hard.

"Stevie Woods, our goalkeeping coach, rates him very highly."

Meanwhile, the Bhoys boss has maintained that Sydney Super Cup is not a time for his players to rest.

Speaking to Celtic TV, the Australian said: "We are still in camp and working. It is not like it is a break, but I just think being away from the competitive environment of Glasgow and the Scottish Premiership is good for the lads.

"They can spend some time together and work hard in training. It will give them a good mental break from a pretty tough schedule.

"It is an important week. It is another week when I have some time to do some work.

"The boys will have some time off. They will have a week or so off, which will be good for them.

"It is important we just continue on. Our form has been really good, particularly in the league, and in these two games, against Sydney FC and Everton, we want to put on good performances.

We want to do that firstly for ourselves, so we keep progressing and secondly for the people who come to see us live.

"We want to give a good account of ourselves.
