Ange Postecoglou's former assistant Peter Cklamovski feels that Celtic would be welcomed with "enormous love" should they come to Japan.
The Hoops recently completed a mid-season tour to Australia to take part in the Sydney Super Cup.
And the 44-year-old, who worked with the Parkhead boss Down Under and at Yokohama F Marinos, feels the next step for the club is to travel to Japan.
As well as because of the Japan contingent at the club, which now includes defender Yuki Kobayashi, Cklamovski feels that supporters in Asia are desperate to see the Scottish champions play.
Speaking to The Times, he said: "I’m sure the recent trip reminded everyone of the huge following Celtic has in Australia.
“It was no doubt a special trip for Ange, and his induction into the Football Australia Hall of Fame is very well deserved.
“As and when they come, Celtic will feel enormous love in Japan also and will witness the special footballing culture the country provides.
"Japan already seems to be Celtic-mad. The entire country has a huge respect for Ange and obviously has a love and support for the Japanese contingent playing at the club.
"You will see huge support for Celtic during a Japanese tour for sure.”
