Former Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has responded to Chris Sutton on social media, calling the Englishman a "landscape-changer" during his time at the club.
The 70-year-old was conducting a social media Q+A to promote his new book when he was asked by his former player via Twitter: "Why were you nasty to me on a number of occasions, Martin, but nice to Henrik all the time?"
It was tongue in cheek remark that led to the ex-Republic of Ireland manager hilariously responding: "Because he scored more goals than you! However, had you not come to Celtic when you did we may not have beaten Rangers that glorious afternoon.
'You were a landscape-changer when you came to the club & had you not done so, we wouldn't have achieved the success we did."
The pair enjoyed a successful spell at Parkhead, which saw them win three Scottish Premiership titles, two League Cups and three Scottish Cups.
O'Neill also led the team to the 2003 UEFA Cup Final.
While Sutton's transfer is a past example of the club recruiting well in the market, Ange Postecoglou will be hoping for similar success should they sign Korean striker Cho Gung-sung.
The forward's father advised him to go to a club that suits his style after revealing transfer negotiations are almost complete.
The Hoops have been linked with the Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors striker, who bowed out of the Qatar tournament this week after South Korea were battered by Brazil.
Fenerbahce and Rennes have also been linked with the 24-year-old and his dad, Cho Chae-hwan, was interviewed in his homeland's television channels about what the future holds for his son.
He said: "The advice I have given my son is when he signs for a team abroad, go to a club that can play the way he likes, rather than choosing a club because they are a big name.
"He needs a club that will help him adapt and settle down to a new lifestyle on and off the pitch.
"I know his agent is in the process of finalising negotiations regarding his transfer overseas. He will certainly go to Europe.
"Ahead of the World Cup, I told him that this was a tournament that he had to show everyone what he could do on the pitch and I think he did that.
"He has had a great time at the World Cup and I am certainly very proud of him."
