Celtic B have confirmed their scheduled trip to face Cowdenbeath has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Adverse weather conditions have led to the match being called off this morning.
The Lowland League match had been due to kick-off this afternoon at Central Park
However, following a pitch inspection at 9am the decision has been taken to postpone the fixture.
A Celtic B statement read: "Today’s #SLFL fixture against Cowdenbeath has been postponed.
"The rearranged date will be announced in due course"
Cowdenbeath had confirmed: "Following a 9am pitch inspection at Central Park, today's @OfficialSLFL game v @CelticFCB has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
"A new date will be announced in due course."
Celtic currently sit in third place in the Lowland League table with 39 points from their opening 19 outings.
Tranent are just in front on 41 points with Rangers B at the top on 45 points so far.
Cowdenbeath meanwhile are down in 16th place in the 19-team league division. They've won just five of their 20 matches so far and sit on 18 points.
With the Cowdenbeath away day to be recheduled due to the frozen pitch, Celtic B will next play Tranent Juniors on Friday night at the Excelsior Stadium.
Kick-off for that match will be at 7.45pm.
