Ex-Celtic player Kolo Toure has praised former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers calling him "one of the best managers in the world."
The 41-year-old played under the Northern Irishman during his first season in charge of the Parkhead club as the team won an invincible treble.
He then transitioned to a coaching role at the Bhoys, working with Rodgers and his staff.
The former Ivory Coast international followed his mentor to Leicester, where he remained in post for over three seasons before embarking on his own managerial journey.
Toure has since been appointed Wigan manager and drew 1-1 against Millwall in his first match in charge of the English Championship side.
He has been keen to talk up Rodgers since taking the role.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "He is one of the best managers in the world, for me, which is Brendan that you know.
"He has been a mentor for me and I have learned a lot from him.
"Every skill I have learned from him and the previous coaches I had helped me to feel that I can help this Wigan team."

The ex-Arsenal man worked under a host of top managers during his playing days, including Arsene Wenger and Roberto Mancini.
He feels his experience of spending time with them will set him up nicely for his time in the dugout.
“When you work with those top managers, what you tend to do is learn from the, each of them have a strength, for me it was to pick a little bit of each of them," he continued.
"I was really lucky to work with those great managers.”
