Shaun Rooney has been blasted by Scott Brown for his part in "starting World War III" after his red card against Sheffield Wednesday.
The former St Johnstone right-back was sent off in yesterday's game which finished 2-1 to Darren Moore's side.
The defender, 26, scored after only eight minutes to give Celtic hero Brown's side the lead.
However, George Byers equalised a short while later for the Owls before Marvin Johnson struck around 20-minutes from time to seal all three points for the visitors.
But it was in the final ten-minutes when all the major drama unfolded at Highbury Stadium.
Rooney was shown a red card after picking up a second booking on 83-minutes.
The full-back was furious. As he walked off the pitch, he made a beeline for Moore in Wednesday's technical area, as well as heading towards the fourth officials.
While Broony wasn't necessarily unhappy at his man being given his marching orders, he has warned Rooney that his conduct was unacceptable when leaving the pitch.

The St Johnstone double cup winning hero will now receive an internal punishment from Fleetwood.
Brown said: "Roons has let himself down. It’s not the sending off, it’s the manner of what happened afterwards and for me, that’s not the way I want my players to react.
"If you get sent off, you take it on the chin, sometimes you might clip somebody if they get in, that’s fine.
“But you take it on the chin. You don’t start World War Three in the middle of the park and then with the fans chanting start to go for everybody else. It’s not for me, that.
“We’ll deal with that in-house and I’m sure he’ll get a ban as well. It’s not the way you should act on the pitch.”
